the NAF Schlarships

Founded in 1921, the NAF is the leading bilateral foundation initiating and supporting high-impact exchange between the Netherlands and the United States, including the NAF/Fulbright Fellowships and programmes in the arts, business, public policy and historic preservation. NAF activities provide donors and recipients with access to a broad network of educational, cultural and business organisations that exemplify Dutch and U.S. excellence in a number of disciplines.

Duisenberg school of finance and The Netherland-America Foundation offers one grant consisting of a 100% tuition waiver. The waiver includes tuition and supervision, but does not include course materials or living expenses, which vary according to your circumstances and lifestyle.
All candidates must complete the DSF online application prior to applying for the scholarship. Application deadline (to the Netherland-America Foundation) -- 1 June 2013.

Applications are competitive. One scholarship will be awarded for the 2013/14 academic year.

Asia Pacific Leadership Program Fellowship 13-14

The East-West Center is pleased to invite applications for the Asia Pacific Leadership Program Fellowship (APLP) for the 2013 – 2014 year. The APLP is the center of excellence for leadership education in the Asia Pacific region and a signature program of the East West Center.

Currently celebrating its 12th anniversary, the APLP has created a network of 432 dynamic leaders in 53 countries who are helping to build a peaceful, prosperous and just Asia Pacific community. Upon acceptance, all participants receive a fellowship valued at approximately $15,000 USD to cover the majority of the program costs.

Program Description

The APLP seeks outstanding individuals from all walks of life (government, business, NGOs, health sciences, media, monastic orders, and education) to participate in an innovative leadership development program at the East-West Center in Honolulu, Hawai’i.

From August – December 2013, 35 Fellows from around the globe will join regional specialists and leadership educators in a dynamic learning community. From January – April 2014, Fellows have the option to participate in extended fieldwork in Southeast Asia, internships, self-designed projects and employment experience.

Applications completed by the priority deadline of December 1st will receive a final decision by March 1st.  Applications completed after the priority deadline will be reviewed on a rolling basis.  Candidates who wish to be considered for scholarships should complete their applications by the priority deadline.

Jack Kent Cooke Foundation’s Undergraduate Transfer Scholarships

The Jack Kent Cooke Foundation’s Undergraduate Transfer Scholarship honors excellence by supporting outstanding community college students with financial need to transfer to and complete their bachelor’s degrees at the nation’s top four-year colleges and universities.

MINIMUM ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS
    Be a current student at an accredited US community college or two-year institution with sophomore status by December 31, 2012, or a recent graduate (since spring 2008).
    Plan to enroll full-time in a baccalaureate program at an accredited college or university in fall 2013.
    Have a cumulative undergraduate grade-point average of 3.50 or better on a scale of 4.0 (or the equivalent).
    Be nominated by the Jack Kent Cooke Foundation Faculty Representative at his or her two-year institution.
    Have significant unmet financial need.
    Have not previously been nominated for the Jack Kent Cooke Foundation Undergraduate Transfer Scholarship.

Army ROTC FOUR-YEAR SCHOLARSHIPS

Focus On Your Studies, Not How You'll Pay For Them
The high school Four-Year Scholarship is for high school students planning on attending a four-year college program. Contact your high school academic advisor or campus Military Science department for more information.

Requirements

    Be a U.S. citizen
    Be between the ages of 17 and 26
    Have a high school GPA of at least 2.50
    Have a high school diploma or equivalent
    Score a minimum of 920 on the SAT (math/verbal) or 19 on the ACT (excluding the required writing test scores)
    Meet physical standards
    Agree to accept a commission and serve in the Army on Active Duty or in a Reserve Component (Army Reserve or Army National Guard)

Your Commitment
    An eight-year service commitment with the Army.
    Serve full time in the Army for four years and four years with the Individual Ready Reserve (IRR).
    Selected Cadets may choose to serve part time in the Army Reserve or Army National Guard while pursuing a civilian career

Initial Application Deadline is 10 January. All updates are required to be postmarked by 28 February.

Please Note: Applications for the U.S. Army ROTC 4-Year College Scholarship Program for school year 2013-2014 will be accepted beginning February 1, 2012.
