2015 EPA Science to Achieve Results (STAR) Fellowships

The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) announces the posting of the Request for Applications, 2015 EPA Science to Achieve Results (STAR) Fellowships for Graduate Environmental Study with the goal of offering Graduate Fellowships for master’s and doctoral level students in environmental fields of study. Subject to availability of funding and other applicable considerations, the Agency plans to award approximately 55 new fellowships in the Fall of 2015. Master's level students may receive a maximum of two years of support ($88,000). Doctoral students may be supported for a maximum of three years ($132,000), usable over a period of five years.

Supporting these fellowship grants is in line with the Sustainable and Healthy Communities (SHC) Research Program. EPA’s SHC Research Program provides useful science and tools for decision makers at all levels to help communities advance sustainability as well as achieve regulatory compliance. SHC is collaborating with partners to conduct research that will result in science-based knowledge to guide decisions that will better sustain a healthy society and environment in America's communities.  The research is intended for decision-makers at the federal, regional, state and community levels.

2015 EPA Greater Research Opportunities (GRO) Fellowships

The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) announces the posting of the Request for Applications, 2015 EPA Greater Research Opportunities (GRO) Fellowships for Undergraduate Environmental Study with the goal of offering undergraduate fellowships for bachelor level students in environmental fields of study. Subject to availability of funding and other applicable considerations, the Agency plans to award approximately 34 new fellowships.  Eligible students will receive support for their junior and senior years of undergraduate study and for an internship at an EPA facility during the summer of their junior year. The fellowship provides up to $20,700 per academic year of support and $8,600 of support for a three-month summer internship.

Supporting these fellowships is in line with the Sustainable and Healthy Communities (SHC) Research Program. EPA’s SHC Research Program provides useful science and tools for decision makers at all levels to help communities advance sustainability as well as achieve regulatory compliance. SHC is collaborating with partners to conduct research that will result in science-based knowledge to guide decisions that will better sustain a healthy society and environment in America's communities.  The research is intended for decision-makers at the federal, regional, state and community levels.

MBA International Full Scholarship at The University of Hull

Four full tuition fee scholarships are available to any four students who have Overseas Fee
Status. These scholarships will be awarded on the basis of professional and academic
excellence. The scholarship covers the full cost of the MBA tuition fees, for the normal
duration of the programme (one year). This scholarship is valid only for the academic year
commencing September 2015.

In order to be considered for this scholarship, applicants must
1. have applied and received confirmation of an offer to study before applying for this
scholarship and must write their admissions application code on this scholarship
application for consideration
2. be able to commence their studies in September 2015
3. have not been awarded any other scholarship or sponsorship
4. be considered as international students for tuition fee purposes
All new international students not in receipt of a scholarship will automatically receive a
£2,000 bursary.

Deadlines
Applications must reach us before the deadline of 4 May 2015 for entry in September 2015.
Successful applicants will be notified by 21 May 2015 and the scholarship will be offset
against your tuition fee at registration.

NURSE Corps Scholarship Program

NURSE Corps Scholarship Program enables students accepted or enrolled in a diploma, associate, baccalaureate or graduate nursing programs, including RN to BSN, RN to MSN-NP, Direct Entry MSN-NP program to receive funding for tuition, fees and other educational costs in exchange for working at an eligible NURSE Corps site upon graduation.

The NURSE Corps Scholarship Program is a selective program of the U.S. Government that helps alleviate the critical shortage of nurses currently experienced by certain types of health care facilities located in Health Professional Shortage Areas (HPSAs). Upon graduation, NURSE Corps Scholarship recipients work at these facilities for at least 2 years, earning the same competitive salary and benefits as any new hire.

As much as half of the award funds are reserved for students pursuing a master’s level nurse practitioner degree.

Benefits
The NURSE Corps Scholarship Program provides nursing students with financial support in exchange for a commitment to serve at least two-years in a qualifying NURSE Corps site.

Participants receive:
tuition
eligible fees
other reasonable costs, such as books, clinical supplies/instruments and uniforms.
monthly stipend of ($1,316 for the 2015-2016 academic year)

Eligible Applicants
U.S. citizens (born or naturalized), nationals or lawful permanent residents
enrolled or accepted for enrollment in a professional nursing degree program (baccalaureate, graduate, associate degree, or diploma) at accredited school of nursing located in the U.S.
begin classes no later than September 30
free from any Federal judgment liens
free from existing service commitments
not delinquent on a Federal debt

Selection Criteria
Preference is given to qualified applicants with the greatest financial need who are enrolled or accepted for enrollment in an accredited undergraduate nursing program or Master’s nurse practitioner program as full-time students.

The International Scholarship at University of Kent

The International Scholarship Process is now open; please note the deadline for applications is 31st of May 2015.

The University has a long tradition of welcoming international students and is pleased to offer a number of scholarships for entry at undergraduate level.

The scholarships will be worth £5000 per year of study at Kent, towards the cost of tuition fees (for up to three years of study) and are offered to nationals of any country paying international fees.

Eligibility
To be eligible for consideration for a scholarship, all of the conditions below must have been satisfied:

1. an application must have been made for an undergraduate degree course at the University of Kent.

2. the applicant must have received an offer of a place (conditional or unconditional) on a degree course.

3. the University must have received confirmation of the applicant's firm acceptance of the offer by the deadline date.

Taught Masters Scholarships at University of Leeds

Taught Masters Scholarships in the School of Philosophy, Religion and History of Science at Leeds 2015/16

The School of PRHS at the University of Leeds is pleased to offer up to two fees scholarships for any taught Masters programme within the School for September 2015 entry.

This award will cover the full cost of fees for students eligible to pay fees at the home/EU rate. It is available to students who intend to study their Masters degree on either a full-time or part-time basis.

For students who are required to pay fees at the international rate this studentship provides a partial fee payment. To be eligible for consideration, international applicants will be expected to demonstrate their ability to pay the remainder of their fees (£8,500).

All candidates who have submitted an application for admission to a taught Masters programme in the School of Philosophy, Religion and History of Science by 8th May 2015 will automatically be considered for this scholarship.
