Scholarship for Master Degree Programs of the Government of the Republic of Indonesia 2008

he scholarship education program is offered to post graduate students (Master Degree) to study at one of universities in Indonesia for 3 years, consisting of 1 year of the Indonesian Language and Preparatory Programs and 2 years of Master Program. Fields of study to be offered
Humanities Engineering
Science Education
Social Science Agricultural Sciences

COURSE SCHEDULE

1. Indonesian Language: 8 Months
2. Master Programs Preparatory: 4 Months
3. Master Programs: 24 Months / 4 semester

Financial Assistance

While taking the Indonesian language course and preparatory programs, a student will get Rp. 1.000.000,-/month (cost of living only).

During their Master Programs in Indonesia, students will get montly stipend as follows:

• Cost of Living = Rp. 1.000.000;
• Research Allowance = Rp. 300.000;
• Books Allowance = Rp. 200.000;

Schedule

The scholarship will be given for a maximum of 36 months with the following schedule:

• Indonesian Language Course: 8 months (September 2008 - April 2009)
• Preparatory Programs: 4 months (May- August 2009)
• Master Programs: 24 months (September 2009- August 2011)

PROCEDURE OF APLICATIONS

• The students must be officially nominated by their respective government
• All documents must be sent to the Indonesian Embassy in Bangkok (contact person: Mrs. Tanti Widyastuti) or Indonesian Consulate in Songkhla (contact person: Mr. Makmun Chalifah) no later than 10 March 2008
• The successful applicants will be notified by April 28, 2008
• The students shouls arrive in Jakarta by early September 5, 2008
• The Indonesian language course will begin on September 11, 2008
