This is a 4-year studentship starting from March 1st 2010. Each year the applicants will conduct research for a PhD for 75% of the time and demonstrate and mark undergraduate lab classes in biomechanics for 25% of the time. The preferred area for research is age related changes in gait with a specific focus on balance and coordination.

The successful applicants must have a good first degree (upper second or first) in field of Sport and Exercise Science or a related discipline including a strong grounding in biomechanics. Current final year undergraduates or master’s students are eligible to apply. The studentship is available to all European citizens.
