International Society of Explosives Engineers (ISEE) Scholarships

Applying for an SEE Education Foundation Scholarship

To be eligible* to apply for a scholarship for the 2011-2012 academic year, you should be:

a) Currently pursuing technical undergraduate, graduate or doctorate degrees in fields of education related to the commercial explosives industry.
b) Must have completed at least one year of an accredited post secondary program.
c) Able to demonstrate financial need.

*Officers, Directors and Employees of the International Society of Explosives Engineers and the Society of Explosives Engineers Education Foundation and their relatives are ineligible.

Recipients of renewable scholarships are expected to reapply by May 1st of each year by submitting a letter of intent in the spring stating that they expect to continue their studies in the next academic year. Attach a current copy of the student's official transcript.

All funds will be sent directly to the education institution. Failure to use any scholarship in the year for which it was intended will result in forfeiture. Upon acceptance, students will be required to sign an agreement that the student will complete the education for which the scholarship applies or return the funds.

The application is divided into four parts. Only those awarded scholarships will be notified by mail by August 15th. If you have any questions, please call the ISEE at (440) 349-4400.

We must receive your completed application packet NO LATER THAN MAY 1, 2011. Late or incomplete applications will not be considered. Please include only the materials requested. Additional materials will not be considered by the Review Committee.
