The International College Student Exchange Program is a project between the ASEANUniversity Network, Daejeon University and the United Nations Asian and PacificTraining Centre on Information and Communication Technology for Development (UNAPCICT).
The Program offers exchange scholarships for 20 undergraduate students from ASEANnations to study at Daejeon University, the Republic of Korea (ROK).
The scholarshipincludes tuition fees, room and board, round-trip ticket, basic medical insurance andliving allowance (300 USD per month) for one or two semesters.
Daejeon University has specially developed courses for international exchange students.Students can enroll in the International Exchange Program (IEP), these courses are taughtin English by Korean faculties. For those students who are capable of understandinglectures in Korean, he or she can take any regular courses offered for Korean students.
Eligible Applicant:
o Applicant must be a citizen of ASEAN nations and currently enrolled inCollege or University.
o Undergraduate student in ICT field (e.g.: Computer Science, Information& Communication, and Computer and Information Technologies relatedfields)o Applicant must be in the top 10% of their classes.o Applicant must have a good command of written and spoken English.
o Applicant must have a good medical record.

Deadline for Application: 15 January, 2009 (The Universities might have differentdeadline for their students.)
The AUN Member Universities comprises the 21 leading universities nominated by theconcerned ministries from 10 ASEAN nations. They are Universiti Brunei Darussalam,Royal University of Phnom Penh, Universitas Gadjah Mada, Universitas Indonesia,Institut Teknologi Bandung, National University of Laos, Universiti Malaya, UniversitiKebangsaan Malaysia, Universiti Sains Malaysia, Institute of Economics-Myanmar,University of Yangon, Ateneo de Manila University, De La Salle University, Universityof the Philippines, Nanyang Technological University, National University of Singapore,Burapha University, Chulalongkorn University, Mahidol University, Vietnam National University-Hanoi, and Vietnam National University-Ho Chi Minh City.
