Masters Degree Study Scholarships - 2011/12

The following MA Study Scholarships will be available for those commencing a full-time MA programme in the School of Education in 2011/12:

For Full-Time International Students
    * Up to 2 study scholarships each worth one half (50%) of the 2010/11 full-time annual tuition fee for international students
    * Closing date to be considered for a full-time international MA Study Scholarship - 31 March 2011.
    * If you have not been contacted by the School of Education by 30 April, you may assume you have no been awarded an MA Study Scholarship for 2011/12.

For Full-Time UK/EU Students
    * Up to 3 study scholarships each worth one half (50%) of the 2011/12 full-time annual tuition fee for UK/EU students
    * Closing date to be considered for for Full-time UK/EU MA Study scholarship - 31 May 2011
    * If you have not been contacted by the School of Education by 30 June, you may assume you have not been awarded an MA Study Scholarship for 2011/12.

You will be automatically considered for a School of Education scholarship if:

    * you fulfil the entry requirements of the MA programme
    * you have completed a separate scholarship request form or obtained one from the School of Education Admissions Office

Scholarships will be awarded:

    * on the basis of the strength of your application to the MA programme

For all MA Study Scholarships:

    * Receipt of the scholarship is conditional upon you commencing your period of study by registering no later than 1 October in the year the award is offered. Scholarships cannot be deferred to a later year.
    * If you are successful, you must confirm acceptance of your offer of a place on the MA programme and the scholarship award within 2 weeks of notification of the award otherwise the scholarship will be awarded to another student
    * Please note: you may still apply for a place on an MA programme in the School of Education after these dates although you will not be eligible to be considered for a scholarship.
