EWGA Foundation now accepting applications for the 2016 Women On Par Scholarship program
The EWGA (Executive Women's Golf Association) Foundation
recognizes the importance of education regardless of age. The Women On
Par® Scholarship program provides financial assistance to nontraditional
female students -- women thirty years of age and older -- who want to
begin or complete their undergraduate education to get "on par" with
their peers and advance themselves both professionally and personally.
Since the program's inception in 2007, 14 women have received scholarships. Applications for 2016 are now being accepted until April 15, 2016, or until 200 applications are received, whichever occurs first. There will be two (2) scholarships awarded: One (1) $1,000 Women On Par® scholarship and one (1) $500 Women On Par® scholarship.
EWGA membership is not a requirement to apply or receive a scholarship. Applicants are required to be pursuing a technical/vocational degree, associates or bachelor's degree and currently be enrolled or accepted to enroll in an accredited school, college or university. The scholarships are awarded based on need and women who have previously earned degrees are not eligible.
